These are meat animals and are divided into two separate lines Dog lines (canidae) and Cats (Felidae).

Doglike carnivores includes, spotted hyenas, striped hyenas, Aardworf and jackals, Foxes, wild dog.
Carnivores resembling domestic cats includes lions, wildcat, Black-footed cat or small spotted cat, servalcat, Leopard and Cheetah.
We have other type of carnivores in a family known as Mustelidae-Weasels, Otters, Zorrias and Rate.
